SB19, Jolin's 'Emoji' nominated at Weibo Music Awards - GMA Network

SB19 and Jolin just got an international nomination!

According to 1Z Entertainment on social media, the artists were nominated at the Weibo Music Awards for Song of the Year – Overseas category for their collaboration track, “Emoji."

“This recognition celebrates the collaboration's cross-border impact and the continued visibility of P-pop within the broader Asian music industry,” the company said in its caption.

“Emoji” is part of SB19’s latest album “Wakas at Simula,” which came out in March. It combines the tracks from the group's EP trilogy, "Pagsibol," "Pagtatag," and "Simula at Wakas."

Jolin, dubbed the Queen of C-Pop, expressed gratitude to SB19 for the collaboration.

SB19 made history as the first Filipino act to perform at the Lollapalooza, one of the world's biggest music festivals. The group also performed at the Summer Sonic in Japan in August.

The group teased an upcoming single coming out in October.

Composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, SB19 is known for their songs "MAPA," "GENTO," "Dungka!" and "VISA."

Meanwhile, the Weibo Music Awards is an annual ceremony by the Chinese social media website, Weibo.
