Scissors, screwdriver on bed: Man killed ‘lover’ in Assam hotel

A woman was discovered deceased in a Rangia hotel room with throat injuries. Police arrested a man who had booked the room and was found inside. The victim was identified as Malini Guria from Sonitpur district. Preliminary inquiry suggests the crime may be linked to a love affair. The accused has confessed to the murder before the police.
