Scouting Saturday Week 4: 10 prospects for Packers fans to watch - Packers Wire

Only 215 days until the 2027 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers' offensive line is off to an historically bad start and it could go over a major remodel this offseason. This week’s Scouting Saturday will focus heavily on the hogs up front.

Cayden Green, OL, Missouri: Green is very much a Packers type. The Oklahoma transfer has 18 starts at left guard and 13 starts at left tackle. The Tigers starting left tackle has given up zero sacks and one pressure through two games this season. With his size (6-5, 316 pounds), agility and tackle-guard versatility, Green could be on Green Bay’s radar.

Canon Boone, C, Mississippi State: A high school offensive tackle, Boone has played snaps at right guard, left guard, left tackle and center. He’s started 16 straight games at center for the Bulldogs and has given up zero sacks and two pressures thus far this season. Boone is a well-rounded interior prospect. He has quick feet and alertness in pass protection and shows good range as a run blocker.

Tyree Adams, OT, Texas A&M: A transfer from LSU, Adams started 10 games at left tackle and one at left guard during his time with the Tigers. During his first three starts at left tackle for the Aggies, he’s given up zero sacks and eight pressures. At 6-7, 310 pounds, Adams has the ideal size. He’s coming off his worst game of the season though and will be tested by LSU’s Princewell Umanmielen. 

Braelin Moore, iOL, LSU: Moore is a versatile interior offensive lineman. The Virginia Tech transfer has 12 starts at left guard and 27 starts at center to his name. Moore has given up zero sacks and one pressure through three games this season and will face a challenge today against Texas A&M’s talented interior defensive line. LSU’s starting center is a competitive run blocker and shows good short-area burst to get out and hit his landmarks. 

Hero Kanu, DT, Texas: The 6-4, 317-pound wrecking ball has recorded four pressures and 2.5 tackles for loss thus far this season. He creates movement with his raw power and he has agile feet and the quickness to make plays up and down the line of scrimmage. After watching Bijan Robinson run all over Green Bay's defense on Thursday, it's evident that the Packers still need help in the trenches on the defensive side of the ball.

Wendell Moe Jr, G, Tennessee: Moe enters today’s matchup with 36 starts at left guard and eight at right guard to his name. Tennesse’s starting left guard has given up zero sacks and two pressures through three games this season. Moe is a powerful run blocker and plays with good leverage to create running lanes.

Kam Franklin, DL, Ole Miss: Franklin is a powerful presence up front for the Rebels. With his size and power, Franklin has the ability to wreck drives on his own. He plays with heavy hands and a relentless motor. Last week against LSU, the former five-star recruit recorded six pressures, three run stops, one tackle for loss and one pass deflection.

Bryce Lovett, OL, Florida: Lovett is another Packers type. He offers true four position versatility and has started three games at right guard, two at right tackle and three at left tackle, while taking snaps at right guard. Florida’s starting left tackle has given up zero sacks and one pressure in three games this season.

Kade Pieper, iOL, Iowa: Pieper is an athletic interior offensive lineman. The Hawkeye prospect has started 16 games at right guard and has taken snaps at left guard and center. In three games this season, Pieper has given up zero sacks and one pressure. Pieper is an outstanding run blocker with unlimited range due to his athleticism. If he’s still on the board when the Packers are on the clock in the second round, Pieper could be the pick.

Jake Guarnera, iOL, Michigan: A former three-sport athlete, Guarnera has started 11 games at right guard and three at center. Michigan's starting center has given up zero sacks and zero pressures through three games this season. Guarnera is a technician in pass protection. From the top down, everything is synchronized and every movement has purpose. With his interior versatility and football acumen, Guarnera could be an attractive target for the Packers if the Wolverine offensive lineman declares.
