Investigations reveal relations between businessmen and the underworldIn the dossier prepared by the prosecution of the State Security Court of Istanbul, the relations between Erol Evcil, the businessman accused of ordering the murder of Nesim Malki, Alladdin Cakıcı, the infamous figure of the underworld, and Malki himself.During the investigation, the prosecution has recorded 50 statements, given by businessmen, politicians, police officers among others. The prosecution has accused 14 suspects on charges of organised crime and accomplice in murder. The reports detail how and through whom Kursat Yılmaz has threatened Malki and the role of Ahmet Demir, the Chief of Izmir Police in the case. The dossier contains statements by names such as the businessman Yuksel Caglar, former Deputy chief of the Bursa Police Yusuf Ilhan, deputy of Bursa from ANAP (the Motherland Party) Mehmet Gedik, and Nesim Malki's partner Erol Erkohen.
