Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya is set to return to the Randburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday for a formal bail application.
Sibiya was arrested at a strip club in Sandton last week on allegations that he sexually groomed a 16-year-old girl and her 18-year-old friend.
He faces a total of five charges, including sexual grooming of a minor, rape and trafficking of persons.
