Sharjeel seeks Chinese support in transport

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon held a multilateral dialogue with Yang Haodong, Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, focusing on expanding cooperation between Sindh and China's Hunan Province in transport, new energy, infrastructure, food and agriculture. Speaking at the meeting, Yang Haodong highlighted the long-standing relationship between China and Pakistan and expressed interest in expanding business cooperation in sectors including transport, new energy and infrastructure development. Sharjeel Memon thanked the Hunan authorities for inviting the Pakistani delegation to Changsha and expressed interest in developing a sister-province relationship between Sindh and Hunan. The senior minister invited Yang Haodong to lead a delegation to the 4th Foodagro Exhibition, scheduled to be held in Karachi from November 23 to 26, 2026, to explore opportunities for cooperation in the food and agriculture sectors.
