Apprehensions about a larger conspiracy behind the applications for bulk deletion of voters as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls 2026 found validation in another pre-printed Form 7 surfacing in Bahadurpura constituency on Friday.
The form, which is sourced from the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, seems all prepared to be filed, with the voter’s name and his address printed on the form rather than handwritten. However, the applicant’s name is missing on the form, which confirms that it was not submitted.
The first instance of bulk Form 7s in Hyderabad surfaced on October 1, 2026, in Musheerabad constituency. Pre-printed applications were alleged to have been filed by a Booth Level Agent of Bharatiya Janata Party seeking deletion of a total 31 electors, who included a Congress party’s BLA and his family members.
The issue came to light reportedly when the Booth Level Officer concerned approached the family for enquiry, sources informed. Receiving information from the ground level workers, TPCC Election Cell has started investigation in all constituencies.
“We have learnt that the forms were distributed by the constituency in-charges to the division presidents who in turn distributed them to the BLAs, for filing objections,” alleged sources from the cell.
As per the original plan, the forms were to be submitted only after October 1, to inundate the election authorities who are already under the weight of lakhs of pending hearings from the Notice Phase. The period for filing claims and objections comes to an end on October 7.
In Musheerabad applications, the signature of the BLO was absent, making it clear that the claims were not uploaded on to the Election Commission’s app.
District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R.V.Karnan, when contacted, assured that due diligence will be observed by the Election authorities while scrutinising Form 7 applications.
