Skoda Slavia facelift to launch on October 6: All you need to know
Skoda Auto will launch the facelifted Slavia in India on October 6, 2026, with the updated sedan set to bring styling, feature and powertrain revisions. Production of the refreshed model has already commenced at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India's Chakan facility in Pune, with deliveries expected to begin around the festive season.
The Slavia facelift will continue to be offered with the existing 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines, while the smaller engine will gain a new automatic gearbox. Changes include a revised grille with vertical chrome slats, sharper LED headlamps and a redesigned front bumper with a wider lower opening.
The side profile remains largely unchanged, although the facelift gets new multi-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, the sedan features revised tail-lamps, a black strip across the boot lid with Skoda lettering and an updated bumper with black and chrome detailing.
Inside, the Slavia facelift gets a dual-tone cabin with lighter upholstery and trim elements on the lower sections of the dashboard and doors. It continues with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while higher variants get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.Slavia facelift gets more features
Skoda has expanded the equipment list of the updated Slavia with features including electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, wireless charging and a six-speaker audio system with a subwoofer.

The Slavia facelift continues with the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI produces 115bhp and 178Nm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
The new 8-speed automatic replaces the earlier 6-speed torque-converter unit. The larger 1.5-litre TSI continues to produce 147bhp and 250Nm and is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre version also gets rear disc brakes.

The updated Slavia is being manufactured at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India's Chakan plant in Pune. The company operates two manufacturing facilities in India with a combined annual production capacity of 315,000 vehicles.
Skoda says the Slavia has sold nearly 80,000 units in India since its launch and currently accounts for around 30 per cent of its segment. The facelift's production has been timed ahead of the festive season, when passenger vehicle demand typically sees an increase.
