Hanuman Ansh opened at Rs 10 lakh and has collected Rs 222.88 crore nett in India after 39 days. According to the latest report by trade tracker Sacnilk, as of Day 40, the film is currently running across 8,851 shows and has earned Rs 6.75 crore nett on Tuesday (September 15). This pushes the total India nett collection to Rs 229.63 crore, with total domestic gross standing at Rs 271.27 crore as final end-of-day numbers await reporting.

As the film continued its strong run, several Indian film celebrities praised it, with Sonu Sood saying he was extremely happy to see a film like this perform so well.

In an interview with NDTV, Sonu Sood said, "I am very happy that a film like Hanuman Ansh is doing so well. Apart from the blessings, it also proves that it’s not about budgets, faces or actors or the marketing. It’s about the content that works, something that connects with the soul."

He added that the film industry should learn from the example set by Hanuman Ansh and focus on making stories that people can relate to, instead of concentrating on scale, budgets and glamour. "So I think it’s high time we make films not just for the glamour but stories that can connect to the people, that they can relate to. I think that is what the biggest learning from Hanuman Ansh," he added.

Hanuman Ansh was directed and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi under his banner Swambhu Media Network. The film is based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, which chronicles the life of saint Neem Karoli Baba. Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand play key roles in the film.
