A car lost control and crashed into a kabab centre at Hommadevanahalli near Bannerghatta on October 30, leaving three people with serious burn injuries. Several others standing outside the shop escaped narrowly.

Motorcycles parked along the roadside were damaged in the crash. Hot cooking oil used for preparing kababs spilled onto three workers – Basavaraj, Munikrishna and Manjesh. They suffered severe burn injuries.

The CCTV installed at the adjacent shop recorded the incident.

The injured were rushed to hospital. The Bannerghatta police have seized the car and are probing the details to ascertain the reason behind the crash.
