Sri Sathya Sai District Collector A. Shyam Prasad was felicitated and presented with a Guinness World Record memento at the Collectorate on Saturday (October 3, 2026).
According to a press release, Rajpath Infracon head Jagdish Kadam met the Collector, Joint Collector Maurya Bharadwaj, and Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar, at the Collector’s chamber in Puttaparthi and handed over the memento as a courtesy.
The company achieved four Guinness World Records during the construction of the Bengaluru-Vijayawada Economic Corridor near Puttaparthi, and the memento was presented to mark the feat.
Congratulating the firm, Collector Shyam Prasad said such prestigious records in road construction showcase India’s capability and talent on the global stage, and it was truly commendable.
He wished that Rajpath Infracon would scale more peaks in the future and expand its services further in the nation’s infrastructure development.
