Sri Sivani Engineering College of Chilakapalem in Srikakulam district signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UK’s University of South Wales in a collaboration meeting organised in the college premises on Thursday. The MoU enables the students of Sivani Engineering College to interact with faculty members of the UK university and study in South Wales in their final year.

College Principal Y. Srinivasa Rao, South Wales University Regional Director Ramesh Pati exchanged MoU documents and explained the benefits to the students along with study in abroad opportunities.

“This MoU is a major step forward in shaping our students into global engineers. The students who would also get scholarships under this programme. So the youngsters of backward region can also have internal study opportunity,” Dr. Srinivasa Rao said.
