A female staff member has been taken to hospital after an alleged assault at an Adelaide nursing home.
Police said they responded about 9:30am today to reports that a male volunteer in his 80s had assaulted a staff member at the facility.
The incident occurred at The House of Saint Hilarion at Seaton in Adelaide's west.
The woman aged in her 60s was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening," police said.

The man was also taken to hospital with self-inflicted injuries which were also non-life-threatening.
Police said he did not injure or threaten any residents at the home, and that investigations were ongoing.In an updated statement on Friday night, SA Police said an 85-year-old man had been arrested "in relation to alleged offences", and that he would undergo a medical assessment prior to any further police action.
