Studs and duds from Tennessee Titans' Week 3 loss to New York Giants - Titans Wire
The Tennessee Titans didn't get going until the second half and, even with some chances, left too much on the field in a 12-7 Week 3 loss to the New York Giants.
Led by Jeffery Simmons, the Titans' defense did what it could to keep them in the game, but the offense wasn't enough, and Cam Ward threw a heartbreaking end-zone interception with 17 seconds remaining.
Between a slow start and the weather, the Titans took too long to get going on Sunday, leading to their third loss of 2026.
Here's a look at some studs and duds from Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Giants.
Simmons was dominant and again spent most of the game in the Giants' backfield. Simmons finished the game with 10 tackles and a sack. The emotional leader of the defense, Simmons is off to the best start of his career.
Dike has struggled early in 2026. The 2025 All-Pro return man fumbled twice and lost one of those on the opening kickoff, setting up the Giants early and shifting momentum at the beginning of the contest
Robinson returned to MetLife Stadium to face his former team and had his best game with the Titans. He finished the game with seven receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown.
Ward couldn't get anything going in the first half, and when he did in the second, he couldn't find a big play when the offense needed it. He finished 23-of-36 for 181 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, but he failed to connect twice inside the 10, and Tennessee came up empty on two second-half red-zone trips.
Faulk had the best game of his rookie season, recording three total tackles and his first NFL sack. With the weather being a mess and the Giants dedicated to pounding the ball, Faulk was a physical presence on the edge of the defense.
The veteran defensive end was invisible for the Titans, making zero tackles and committing a critical first-half offsides penalty that kept a Giants scoring drive alive. Other than a sack against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, Martin has not made an impact.
Pollard had a solid game, but like most of the offense took until the second half to get going. He finished with 17 carries for 74 yards and four receptions for 22 yards, but he fell short when called upon on critical downs.
