Suspended Independent Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) investigator Dylan Perumal is believed to be fleeing from law enforcement.

He is sought in connection with allegations of assault, torture and abuse of power.

Perumal is one of four people probed by police watchdog IPID over allegations related to incidents that occurred during their tenure in the SAPS. EWN has reliably learnt that investigators may secure an arrest warrant after failing to locate Perumal to give a warning statement.

EWN understands that IPID investigators travelled to the Eastern Cape recently to obtain warning statements from Belluchun and Perumal.
