Actor Taapsee Pannu gave her fans a light-hearted glimpse into her holiday with husband Mathias Boe after the couple tried, and failed, to create the kind of picture that usually goes viral on social media. During a trip to Saint Anne Island, Taapsee shared a post on Sunday showing the two attempting to get an aesthetic shot of her on a tree.
The post captured a series of funny near-misses rather than a polished holiday portrait. Mathias was seen trying to lift Taapsee from below as she attempted to climb the tree, and the couple's repeated efforts ended in a set of comic moments that Taapsee turned into the punchline of her post.

Taapsee married Mathias Boe, a former Danish badminton player and 2012 Olympic silver medallist, on March 23, 2024, after the two had been in a relationship for around a decade. In a chat with journalist Shubhankar Mishra earlier this year, she spoke about why she chose him as her life partner and said, "He never let me feel the burden of a relationship."
She also said that even after marriage, little changed for her in everyday life. "I almost forget that I am someone who is married," she said, adding that her only condition before the wedding was that everything should remain exactly the same as before. Taapsee said compatibility mattered more than geography, and described Mathias's "ease" as the quality that stood out for her, saying there was no emotional weight and no sense of obligation in the relationship.How the relationship grew
Taapsee said it was not always serious between them in the beginning. With her trademark humour, she joked that she had "planned and plotted" to make a foreigner fall in love with her and move to India, medals in tow. She later clarified that both of them had taken a practical view of the relationship. They enjoyed each other's company and chose to invest further only when they felt the bond had long-term potential, especially because a long-distance relationship came with its own challenges.
