Tamil Nadu government transfers three IAS officers

The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) transferred K.P. Karthikeyan, Managing Director of Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCOT), and posted him as Director of Town Panchayats. He would replace B. Priyanka. She would take over as Director of e-Governance, a post Mr. Karthikeyan was holding additional charge. She will also function as Chief Executive Officer of the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency, an order issued by Chief Secretary M. Sai Kumar said.

B. Vishnu Chandran, who was on foreign deputation, has, on his return, been posted as Managing Director of ELCOT, the order added.
