Taylor Swift shares sweet anecdote about friendship with Abigail Anderson - Geo News
Taylor Swift and Abigail Anderson share a decades-long friendship and the pop icon looked back to the beginning of their lifelong bond, in a new panel talk.
The 36-year-old star appeared for a conversation about Toy Story 5 and spoke about friendship, saying, it's "about finding someone who's the same genre of weird and silly as you are and what just why Bonnie and Blaise's story resonated with me so much. You know when I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you know, you're the new kid in school, you're like who who should I be friends with, these girls are cool. These girls are cool."
However, among all the cool and nice girls, "there was one girl named Abigail and she even has curly hair to like blaze and the two of us all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices and we still do this and like it's something our husbands have to put up with. And so it's just like what are you doing today?" Swift said, emulating the voice, "I don't know. What are you doing? Oh, are you playing with your cute kid? Yeah. Yeah, what's the problem with that? And so it's like, you know when you find that person who just completely sees you for the strange little genre that is you at your purest. That's that that hit me so hard watching the film."
Swifties loved getting an insight into one of the friendships the Grammy winner has written multiple songs about, and commented, "this was a documentary."
One noted, "Thatβs her DIBBLES VOICE!!!!" referring to the pet name for Swift's cat Olivia Benson.
While a third chimed in, "That's such a sweet friendship. I love that they still share the same silly jokes after all these years their husbands must be used to it by now," and "Abigail mention love their friendship!" wrote another.
