Tehseen Poonawalla joins Rise and Fall 2, says his arrival silenced Shehzad
Rise and Fall Season 2 is set for a family face-off as political commentator Tehseen Poonawalla enters the reality show as a wild card contestant. In a promo for the upcoming episode, host Virender Sehwag welcomes Tehseen with a cheeky remark about having two Poonawallas on the show, while Tehseen takes a dig at his brother, Shehzad Poonawalla, saying that his arrival silenced his ever-talkative brother.
In the promo, Sehwag introduces Tehseen by saying, "Aap ek Poonawalla ko jhel nahi paa rahe the. Main do karne wala hoon (You couldn't handle one Poonawalla. Now, I'm bringing in two)."
Tehseen then comments on the reaction to his arrival and says that most contestants were happy to see him, except one. Taking a dig at Shehzad, he says, "Shehzad kabhi bhi chup nahi hota hai, mere aane se yeh silent ho gaya (Shehzad is never quiet, but my arrival has silenced him)."
Sehwag further reveals that Shehzad believes only one Poonawalla will win the show. Responding to this, Tehseen confidently says, "Aur woh Poonawalla main hoon (And that Poonawalla is me)."
The promo hints at a possible clash between the brothers as Tehseen joins the competition. His arrival is expected to change the dynamics inside the house, particularly given Shehzad's apparent reaction to his entry.
Tehseen also reacted to the promo on X, where he shared it with a message for viewers. He wrote, "Who ever wins, a Poonawalla will always Rise & no one, no one should Fall !!!" Tehseen walked in acting like the boss, but Shehzad didnβt even flinch. That smirk on Shehzad's face said everything. Making big claims on stage is easy, but surviving Shehzad Poonawallaβs mind games and strategy inside the house is a whole different ballgame. Only ONE Poonawalla is walking away as the winner, and thatβs Shehzad.β Megh Updates (@MeghUpdates) October 28, 2026
