The Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) urged people to dial 112 immediately in the event of a fire, accident or any other emergency during Deepavali celebrations.

In an advisory issued on November 7, TGICCC advised the public to exercise caution while using firecrackers and electrical decorations to prevent fires, injuries, explosions and electrical short circuits.

The Telangana Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) operates round the clock and coordinates assistance from police, fire and medical services. The centre said prompt calls to 112 could help save lives and minimise damage to property. TGICCC urged people to celebrate the festival safely and responsibly.
