Telecom equipment repair centre established

Federal Minister for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Thursday inaugurated Huawei's national-level spare parts repair centre in Islamabad, aimed at building local repair capacity, reducing reliance on overseas services and strengthening Pakistan's telecom infrastructure. Speaking on the occasion, Shaza Fatima stated that the Digital Nation Pakistan was built on the vision of developing a skilled, future-ready workforce that could compete and create value in global markets. She emphasised that Pakistan was moving decisively from being a consumer of technology to becoming a creator, builder and exporter of digital solutions, powered by the skills and innovation of its people.
