Tesoros presents a fashion with a twist
In a fresh take on the traditional catwalk presentation, Tesoros launched its collaboration with PamPinay last September through “Disenyo at Talento,” featuring a “Fashion Through Life” tableau.
Guest models Patricia Javier, Atty. Camille Sevilla, Sharmaine Suarez and Samantha Bernardo, together with Tesoros’ roster of Filipino-look models, brought familiar Filipino scenes to life through acting and storytelling while modeling the latest eco-conscious collection by Pamela Gotangco-Hupp.
The PamPinay x Tesoros collaboration stands out for its reimagined denim pieces accented with embroidery and Filipino textiles.
The collection incorporates native textiles from Pamela’s own collection, complemented by materials from Tesoros’ collection and beautiful embroidered pieces from its export overruns to Japan.
The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind apparel pieces that celebrate the many faces of the modern Pinay and the beauty of Filipino craftsmanship while remaining relatable and distinctive. The staging proved so engaging that guests eventually stood up and danced with the models.
