A woman in Texas allegedly allowed a doctor to sexually assault a child in exchange for Adderall, according to police.
Alicia Evonne Sanchez, 37, was arrested on Wednesday and has been charged with sexual assault of a child under 14.
Police say she took a child to Dr. Kenneth Donald Haygood's office on numerous occasions, allegedly allowing the doctor to sexually assault the child on at least 10 occasions.
Investigators said that Sanchez stayed in the room during the alleged assaults. The child reportedly pleaded and cried for the doctor to stop, but was ignored or told that "this is what doctors do."
Following the assaults, the child told another adult and a counselor that the doctor would give Sanchez Adderall pills following their visits.
Sanchez allegedly told the child that the pills were for "people who couldn't get them from their doctor" or that there was a medicine shortage.
She is being held on a $3 million bond.
If convicted, Sanchez faces up to 99 years in prison. Investigators have not yet revealed Sanchez's link to the child or the child's gender.
Haywood was sentenced in 2025 to eight years in prison after he pleaded guilty to other sexual assaults. He admitted to two counts of sexually assaulting two female patients in a plea deal that saw six other charges dropped, including sexually assaulting a child.
He had to register as a sex offender for life.
It's unclear if additional charges will be brought against him.
