The Michelin Guide awards PH with 9 Key Hotels for 2026 - GMA Network
The Michelin Guide has revealed nine properties in the Philippines that have been awarded its prestigious Key Hotel distinction for 2026.
For the first time, the Philippines has earned two properties in the Two Michelin Key tier, while seven hotels are listed under One Michelin Key.
In 2025, only five Philippine properties were included in the list, all with One Michelin Key: Amanpulo, Dusit Thani Mactan, Fairmont Makati, Nay Palad Hideaway, and Raffles Makati.
In May, the Michelin Guide expanded its recommended hotels in the country to 25 properties.
Similar to the Michelin Stars given to restaurants, the Michelin Key recognizes hotels that deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.
According to the prestigious guide, hotels with the Michelin Key distinction are "the crème de la crème of our selection."
"All Michelin Guide hotels excel in design, architecture, service, and personalityβthe Michelin Key denotes the most outstanding experiences in our selection," the guide described.
