The zoo thanked the Australian Consulate in Toronto for making suggestions and offering support during the name selection process.
The Toronto Zoo has welcomed a baby wombat and you can have a hand in naming her.
The newest addition to the zoo was revealed Wednesday in a post on social media.
The female southern hairy-nosed wombat has been dubbed ”#TZPouchPotato” while its name is decided.
She “has burrowed straight into the hearts of our community,” the zoo said, and “now we need your help choosing the perfect name for her.”
