To a lifetime of long layovers: Hrithik Roshan wishes Saba Azad on birthday

Hrithik Roshan marked girlfriend Saba Azad's birthday with an Instagram post celebrating their relationship. Sharing several photographs with Saba, the actor wrote about love, companionship and his willingness to take the longer road in life as long as she was with him.

The 52-year-old also explained why he had once hesitated to speak about Saba, saying their relationship was too precious to discuss. Using the analogy of two flights, he said he would always choose the longer and less convenient journey if it meant having more adventures with the 41-year-old.

Recalling a conversation in which someone asked him about Saba, Hrithik wrote, “Someone asked me about you. I said I don't wanna talk about you cause it's too precious. She insisted, and I said this... ‘Well, how about this? Say if there were 2 options for flights from Mumbai to a far-off destination, one was a direct flight. Efficient and easy!’”

He then described the second option as a longer journey involving several stops and the risk of missed connections.

“And another one that went via 8 random cities with hours of transit time each stop with possibilities of missing connecting flights. If it was with her...” he wrote.

Hrithik continued, “I'd pick the 2nd option... deliberately... every single time. Cause with you Sa, every mundane, every wait, every deviation from the normal inevitability turns into a dance of adventures. Let's adventure on my birthday girl. Here's to a lifetime of long layovers together. I love you. Happy Birthday.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Hrithik Roshan (@hrithikroshan)The birthday post included several pictures of Hrithik and Saba.
