Top recruits committed to Ohio State and Texas - USA Today

Ohio State and Texas play Saturday in one of the biggest games of the college football season but the two programs have been doing battle off of the field for years.

Both programs continually rank high in terms of the recruiting cycles which has been a major role in both being viewed by many as two College Football Playoff favorites. To the shock of no one, they both once again rank highly when it comes to the 2027 class.

They've each started off hot when it comes to the 2028 cycle.
