Travis Kelce Opens Up More About Wedding to Taylor Swift - Tempo.co English

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Travis Kelce described his wedding to Taylor Swift as the best night of his life, calling the occasion far beyond anything he could have ever dreamed of.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared his joy while reflecting on his nuptials to Swift during an interview with teammate Patrick Mahomes and ESPN's Chris Berman, as reported by E! News on Friday, September 11.

"I heard you got married, is that true?" Berman quipped to Kelce.

"That's true, that is true," Kelce replied, before lightheartedly teasing Berman, "Didn't I see you there?"

"It was the best night of my life. Marrying Taylor was, you know, it was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be," he continued, recounting their July ceremony at Madison Square Garden (MSG).

Travis also reflected on the star-studded celebration during an episode of the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.

"The night was a night I'll never forget... from the vows to, you know, just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody's stories of the night. It was just so magical, man, and I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did," he said during the September 2 podcast episode.

He also expressed his deep gratitude to everyone who helped pull off the event. "I can't thank everybody enough about that that showed up, but also that helped put the show on," he said.

Furthermore, Kelce explained that they chose a venue capable of offering an intimate, sincere, and private atmosphere free from outside distractions.

According to him, MSG went above and beyond to deliver that exact setting. "We we wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions and we needed it to be a private feel," Kelce said of choosing the iconic New York City venue.
