A tropical depression located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has developed into a tropical storm on Saturday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The said development occurred at 8 a.m., it added.
The storm's last location at 8 a.m. was 2,400 km east of Extreme Northern Luzon.
It has winds of 65 km/h with gustiness of up to 80 km/h.
The storm is moving west northwest at 30 km/h.
PAGASA on Friday said the tropical cyclone may enter PAR on Monday or Tuesday, but has no effect yet this weekend.
