Trump-linked super PAC reports roughly $21 million in spending across key midterm races
A new super PAC tied to President Donald Trump's political operation reported roughly $21 million in independent expenditures across some of the most competitive Senate and House races of the 2026 midterms, according to an FEC filing posted over the weekend.
No Going Back PAC's biggest spending was aimed at Democratic Senate candidates, including nearly $6.7 million against Sherrod Brown in Ohio, $3.8 million against Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, $2.9 million against Roy Cooper in North Carolina, $1.8 million against Chris Pappas in New Hampshire and about $780,000 against Jon Ossoff in Georgia. The group also reported millions of dollars in spending across competitive House races.
No Going Back PAC registered with the FEC on Sept. 1 as a new independent-expenditure-only super PAC. It is closely tied to Trump's existing political operation, sharing a treasurer, address and phone number with MAGA Inc., Trump's main super PAC. Reportedly, Trump's political operation is funding the new group as it ramps up spending in battleground races.
The spending comes as Trump begins deploying a massive midterm war chest that Republicans in competitive races had spent months waiting to see put to use.
Trump said last Friday that he planned to direct as much as $500 million from his political operation toward helping Republicans retain control of Congress. MAGA Inc. reported about $403.5 million in cash on hand as of July 31, according to a FEC filing.
Trump's operation is not alone in ramping up.
Elon Musk's America PAC began spending across seven Senate races and a number of competitive House districts earlier this month after Musk authorized the group to spend as much as $120 million on its midterm effort. Its initial FEC disclosure showed more than $800,000 in spending, with nearly 90% directed toward Senate contests.
