The Dallas Cowboys suffered a horrible week of injury news, with the latest blow coming on Friday. Backup running back Malik Davis had to be carted off the field with a serious hip injury. Set to be a featured member of the offense for the first time in his four-year battle from UDFA depths, it's a heavy blow for a player who is a favorite of the fanbase and the media. Davis will undergo surgery on Saturday and will eventually be moved to IR.

As it hasn't yet happened, Davis is the lone Cowboys player listed with a game status designation on the final injury report of Week 1 ahead of the matchup against the New York Giants. While he's clearly the most serious situation, all eyes are on the designation New York made, listing wideout Malik Nabers as questionable.

Nabers was a full participant all week long, but he may not quite be ready to hit the field after an ACL tear in Week 4 of last season. Some doubt is creeping in on whether or not he's going to debut this week or be held back, and more definitive clues will come on Saturday when New York announces their practice squad elevations. The Giants have just four receivers on their roster, so they'd likely elevate two wideouts if Nabers isn't ready to go.

For Dallas, offensive lineman Ajani Cornelius returned to full participation after a couple of limited days due to a knee issue. That's key, as the club is sufering from Tyler Smith going to IR earlier in the week. DE Jonathan Bullard, who missed all of the preseason and a ton of camp due to a groin injury, was again listed as a full participant and appears ready to make his Cowboys debut.

Here's a look at each player mentioned on the report.
