A Vijayawada court on Wednesday sent two more accused arrested in espionage-cum-honey trap case to 14-day judicial custody till November 10, the Andhra Pradesh Counter Intelligence Cell (CIC) police stated in a release.
The accused, Raja Kumar and Aditya Kumar, have been arrested in a joint operation by the Andhra Pradesh CIC and the Bihar Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), days after a few suspects, including a Visakhapatnam-based Naval officer, were apprehended under ‘Operation Firewall-2026’.
The accused, natives of Raxaul, a border town near Nepal in Bihar, allegedly shared One-Time Passwords (OTPs) of Indian SIM cards with Pakistan Intelligence Operatives used for espionage activities.
The investigation is still under way.
