UP Class 2 girl dies after falling ill in class, family blames loud DJ sound

A Class 2 student in Uttar Pradesh’s Balrampur allegedly died after she fell unwell while attending class at a private school. The girl’s family has alleged that the incident was linked to the loud sound of a DJ being played during a Ganesh immersion procession passing near the school.

The deceased has been identified as Vaishnavi Tiwari. According to the family, the incident took place on Monday when Vaishnavi was attending classes at the school in Balrampur Nagar.

During the school hours, a Ganesh immersion procession reportedly passed through a road next to the school, with loud DJ music being played. A CCTV video reportedly shows the girl appearing uncomfortable while sitting in the classroom before falling.

School teachers immediately took Vaishnavi to a hospital after she fell unwell. However, she could not be saved.

Following the child’s death, questions have been raised by local people over the loud sound of the DJ during the procession. The family has also linked the child’s death to the loud music.

However, the actual medical cause of Vaishnavi’s death will be known only after an investigation. According to police, the family has not filed any complaint in connection with the incident so far.

Vaishnavi’s father, Sonu Tiwari, was reportedly living in a rented house in Balrampur Nagar to facilitate his daughter’s education.

Following her death, the family took Vaishnavi’s body to their ancestral village, Gulhariya Gangapur in Siddharthnagar district, where the last rites were performed.

The incident has left the family grieving and has also led to anger among local residents.

The incident has also highlighted the need for greater caution regarding sound levels around schools, hospitals, elderly people and densely populated areas.
