Vijayawada hospital bags two awards

Manipal Hospital, Vijayawada, has been recognised at the sixth Edition of the ET Healthcare Awards 2026, winning an award in the ‘Hospital of the Year – Organ Transplantation – South’ category.

The hospital stated in a release that it was recognised for its expertise in organ transplantation and multidisciplinary clinical care, at the award ceremony, which took place on September 11. The transplant programme at the hospital includes heart, liver, kidney and other specialised transplant services.

In another recognition, G.V. Reddy, Senior Consultant, Orthopaedics and Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery, Manipal Hospital in Vijayawada, was honoured with the Orthopaedic Surgeon of the Year–South award.
