Vijayawada temple offers silk robes to Kanipakam temple for Brahmotsavams

Silk robes were presented to Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple at Kanipakam on Thursday on the occasion of the annual Brahmotsavams. A delegation from the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Vijayawada, led by temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi) and Executive Officer V.K. Seena Nayak, presented the silk robes to the presiding deity. Priests, members of the temple trust board and Vaidika committee also participated in the ceremony. Kanipakam temple Executive Officer Penchala Kishore welcomed the Vijayawada temple officials and honoured them with traditional temple honours. The ceremony was attended by chief priest Lingambotla Durga Prasad, deputy chief priest Kota Ravi Kumar, chief priest R. Srinivasa Sastry and Vaidika Committee member V. Sridhar Sharma, among others.
