Watch Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell celebrate Broncos’ win - Broncos Wire
Denver Broncos fans across the country went wild when the Denver defense held on in a massive goal-line stand to preserve a thrilling 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday from Empower Field at Mile High.
Among those fans were actor Kurt Russell and his wife Kate Hudson. In a video shared on Instagram, Russell and Hudson were seen screaming "Sack him!" and celebrating and high-fiving other family members as Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was brought to the ground by defensive lineman Malcolm Roach to end the game.
Broncos fandom runs deep in the family, as Hudson, Russell, son Wyatt Russell and Hudson's mother, Goldie Hawn, are well-known Broncos fans. You can see their reactions to the stand below.
Fellow actor Ben Stiller also reacted to the big win, shouting out the Denver defense for their game-winning stand.
With the win, the Broncos now move to 6-2 on the season, putting themselves firmly in the drivers' seat of the AFC West, and into the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
The Broncos now go into Week 9 on the road against the Carolina Panthers in control of their own destiny with their record and playoff spot.
Can they control their own fate, and hold onto the slim stranglehold on the division? They, their fans and their coaches will just have to wait and see.
