Water interruptions set for parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3, 2026 - GMA Network

Residents in parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, and Bulacan will experience scheduled water service interruptions from September 29 to October 2, 2026, due to maintenance and improvement works.

Water concessionaires Manila Water and Maynilad issued separate announcements on their social media pages on Monday.

"Manila Water is advising all residents of the affected areas to store enough water to supply their needs during the service improvement activity," Manila Water said.

Manila Water's scheduled maintenance activities are in Marikina, Pasig, Taguig, Quezon City, and Antipolo, Rodriguez and Taytay in Rizal.

"Affected customers are advised to store enough water for the duration of the service interruption. Maynilad has water tankers on standby, ready to deliver potable water to affected areas as, needed," the concessionaire said.

The affected areas are Makati, Manila, Pasay, Malabon, Navotas, Quezon City, and Obando, Bulacan.
