What Aaron Rodgers told Patriots rookie Gabe Jacas after Sunday's game - Patriots Wire

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was clearly impressed by New England Patriots rookie Gabe Jacas on Sunday.

After the Patriots' 20-3 win over the Steelers, Rodgers was caught on camera having a quick word with the 22-year-old edge rusher.

"Great [expletive] job, man," Rodgers told Jacas.

The second-round draft pick out of Illinois finished the Week 2 matchup with three tackles, one pass defended, one quarterback hit and an interception. He helped set the tone on a defensive front that punished Rodgers and the Steelers' offense throughout the game.

However, there was also a classy show of sportsmanship from the young defender. After knocking Rodgers down on a play, Jacas extended his hand to help the legendary quarterback to his feet. That moment, along with the talent, made an impression on Rodgers, who has spent a career going up against the best.

Perhaps Rodgers envisions a future where Jacas is someday included among those great players.
