A FlySafair passenger who was left waiting for hours at OR Tambo International Airport after her flight to Cape Town was delayed has received a refund after consumer journalist Wendy Knowler took up her complaint.
Lerato said she was scheduled to depart at 10 am but eventually left in the late afternoon.
She said passengers received little communication during the delay and that she had to pay extra for food after being given a R120 meal voucher.
Lerato raised the issue with Knowler on 702, saying she had also missed work meetings in Cape Town because of the delay.
