A 23-year-old woman was shot and killed in an apparent robbery in Tembisa on Monday morning.
Gauteng police said the woman was reportedly on her way to work when she was shot and her belongings taken.
Police said the woman has been identified, but her next of kin has not been formally informed.
This is the 12th woman whose body has been found in the Ekurhuleni area.
However, police said preliminary investigations have not established any links between this incident and the recent case of bodies found.
