Two storms damaged close to 32,000 dwellings, affecting more than 100,000 people in 67 informal settlements across the Cape Town metro last week.
In Wynberg's Goran Road, four families were badly hit when the roofs of their homes were blown off, leaving them displaced.
Wynberg resident Aneeqah Ismail-Brown said the moment her roof was blown away unfolded in seconds.
