A conservation project connecting wild habitats from Wyoming to Canada's Yukon is a finalist for Prince William's Earthshot Prize. The Yellowstone to Yukon initiative protects 59 million acres and supports 204 wildlife crossings. This project brings together diverse groups to build safe passage for animals across highways. Indigenous communities manage about one-quarter of the protected land within the corridor. The initiative plans to protect another 50 million acres by 2030.
