Yerin Ha Is on the 2026 TIME100 Next - Time Magazine
When Bridgerton was looking for a leading lady for Season 4, they started a global search. The Bridgerton books are beloved all over the world, so the pressure to cast the right person as Sophie Baek was enormous.
And when they found Yerin Ha, they really found an absolute diamond. Leading Bridgerton is a wonderful but intense experience. You feel the pressure because people love the show so much, but she never wilted. She dealt with it with such grace. She is someone who is so talented, and so brilliant at what she does.
Yerin is also just lovely to be around. She brings a great energy with her into every room. She’s adaptable; she’s easygoing. She came into our show and fit like a glove, like one of Sophie’s gloves if you will.
She’s one of those people who have that magic combination of great talent and great humility. So it’s very exciting to see what she’s going to do next. I, for one, will be watching from the front row.
